I make spaces where nature, theater & spirit meet

Teaching artist, performer, and researcher. Integrating Spirituality & the Arts in Education.

where it started

Born in Brazil, rooted in theater

My first encounter with theater was in elementary school in Brazil, a teacher used drama to teach us art history, and something clicked. That artistic spark became a fortress for my neurodivergent mind, though I wouldn't understand that until much later.

At seventeen, I entered a performing arts program and theater changed everything — how I talk, move, see the world, connect with others. It became more than art. It became a spiritual practice.

That experience led me to teaching, to Columbia, and to the question that drives all my work: how do theater and embodied storytelling help children connect to nature, to spirit, to themselves?

what I do
Three sides of the same practice

The Educator

teaching artist · curriculum designer

I design learning experiences grounded in theater, SEL, child development, and spirituality. Every lesson is built to make children feel seen, heard, and grounded in their spirituality.

The Artist

theater maker · performer · creator

I trained and performed for years in Brazil's popular theater tradition — work that shaped everything I do today. My creative practice is evolving as I find new ways to make art in the US, blending theater with education and spirituality.

The Researcher

spirituality · ecological identity · arts-based education

My research at Columbia explored how spirituality and the arts can transform education. I believe in trusting children to lead with their whole selves.
